MONAD SHOAL
Dive Sites: Shark Point and The Hole
Distance:between 20 and 30 minutes boat ride from the dive center
Current: weak to strong
Depth: 15 to 45 meters
WHAT TO SEE:
white tip sharks, silver sharks, hammer head, eagle, manta rays,
and the famous thresher sharks between 2 and 4 meters long,
whale sharks have been reportedly spotted in the area, frog fishes,
sea fans, black corals and white anemone.

GATO ISLAND
The island of Gato (guards watching and living on the island) is a protected
marine sanctuary.
Dive Sites:The Wall, Gato Northeast, Gato Northwest and Gato Cave.
Distance: about 40 minutes to one hour boat ride from the dive center
Current: light to moderate
Depth: 15 to 80 meters
WHAT TO SEE:
sleeping sharks, black and white banded sea snakes, soft corals,
black corals, blue spotted sting rays, groupers, cuttle fishes,
nudibranches, lobsters, crabs.

MARIA'S POINT
Distance: 40 minutes to one hour boat ride from the dive center
Current: slight to moderate
Depth: 15 to 22 meters
WHAT TO SEE:
soft and hard corals, nudibranches, a lot of coral fishes, barrels
sponges and small caves with black spotted sting rays.

Distance: about 2 hours boat ride from the dive center
Current: moderate
WHAT TO SEE:
Gorgones, sea fans, black corals, different kind of sharks and rays.

TAPILON SHIP WRECK
Distance: about 25-30 minutes boat ride from the dive center
Current: light
Depth: 20 to 30 meters
WHAT TO SEE:
Japanese cargo wreck from the World War II, black corals,
lion fishes, tall fin bat fishes, squid and other species of fishes.

DOÑA MARILYN SHIP WRECK
Distance: between 90 minutes and 2 hours boat ride from the dive center
Current: moderate to strong
Depth: 20 to 32 meters
WHAT TO SEE:
DOÑA MARILYN wreck, soft corals, gray nurse sharks and black
spotted sting rays.

LIGHTHOUSE SHIP WRECK
Distance: about 10 minutes boat ride from the dive center
Current: moderate
Depth: 8 to 10 meters
WHAT TO SEE:
Another Japanese wreck from World War II, Cuttle fish,
tropical fishes, and Mandarin Fish.

NUÑEZ SHOAL
Distance: about 2 1/2 hours boat ride from the dive center
Depth: 20 to 40 meters
WHAT TO SEE:
Pocillopora and acropa coral. A traditional fishing
ground for the fisherfolk of Cebu and Leyte.

CAPITANCILLO
Distance: about 3 hours boat ride from the dive center
Depth: 25 to 30 meters
WHAT TO SEE:
Scenery of hard corals, gorgonian fans, puffer fishes,
large schools of fusiliers and Moorish idols. With
some luck one may get to encounter a school of
large tuna.
